Back2Basics is committed to the recovery of our clients through a series of concentrated hands-on therapy and life-skill building that is rooted by our unique programs, daily in-depth study of the 12-steps, and innovative and traditional therapeutic counseling modalities.

Back2Basics is dedicated to providing personnel and professional expertise, along with the concrete recovery infrastructure, that is essential to the long-term transformation of our clients into a self-sustaining AND sober adult.

Back2Basics Residential Treatment Program &
Beyond The Basics Transitional Living

Back2Basics Residential Treatment Program is an outdoor adventure recovery program for men with mental health and/or substance abuse issues looking for a positive and meaningful life. In our program clients are exposed to a weekly combination of wilderness therapy and addiction treatment program that have proven to be successful in recovery.

Beyond The Basics Transitional Living Program is a transition program that follows either the Back2Basics Residential Treatment Program or a similar program. Focusing on transitioning our clients into ‘real life’, we provide for the groundwork to gradually transition our clients from rehabilitation and recovery into living real life with long-term sobriety.

While the programs are sequential, the Beyond the Basics program is not required and our Back2Basics clients must apply and express the desire to continue. This leads our clients to take ownership of their decision and commit to their sobriety success. Most of our Back2Basics graduates choose to continue on to Beyond the Basics.

Back2Basics Outdoor Adventures provides guidance crucial to the development of a balanced sober individual. Beyond man-made concepts and distractions, Flagstaff’s natural setting guides our clients on an adventure into their own personal discovery and spiritual enlightenment.

FLAGSTAFF STATS

• Our Back2Basics Outdoor Environment:

  • At an altitude of 7000 feet, Flagstaff is nestled at the base of the lovely San Francisco Peaks in the Coconino Forest of Northern Arizona.
  • We are also located within an hour’s drive of: The Grand Canyon, Mogollon Rim, Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona.

• Back2Basics Academia Community:

  • Flagstaff is home to Northern Arizona University and Coconino Community College, which are located just minutes from our addiction treatment program and clinical campuses.

• The 12 Steps:

  • Flagstaff is a host to over 200 12-Step meetings, available each week to clients.
